2. Using the
SST
, press the return spring into the position where the snap ring groove is visible.

3. Using a flathead screwdriver, install the snap ring in the groove.

TRANSAXLE CASE AND B2 BRAKE INSPECTION
1. Using a dial indicator, inspect the transaxle case bushing.
Transaxle case bushing inner diameter
Standard: 21.932 - 21.953 mm {0.86347 - 0.86429 in}

If it exceeds the specification, replace the transaxle case with a new one.
CAUTION:
z
When installing the snap ring, set the end gap of the snap ring
as shown in the figure.
NOTE:
z
Measure at different places and take an average.
