PARKING BRAKE INSPECTION
1. Depress the parking brake pedal a few times.
2. Depress the brake pedal a few times.
3. Inspect the parking brake stroke by depressing the parking brake pedal with a force of
180 N {18.4 kgf,
40.5 lbf}.
Parking brake pedal stroke when depressed at 180 N {18.4 kgf, 40.5 lbf}
1-3 notches
PARKING BRAKE ADJUSTMENT
1. Turn the adjusting nut at the front of the parking cable.
2. After adjustment, inspect the following points:
