Yes Go to appropriate DTC inspection.

INSPECT FUEL PUMP RELAY CONNECTOR FOR
POOR CONNECTION
z
Turn the ignition switch off.
z
Disconnect the fuel pump relay.
z
Inspect for poor connection (such as
damaged/pulled-out pins, corrosion).
z
Are there malfunction?
Yes
Repair or replace suspected part,
then go to Step 9.
No
Go to the next step.

INSPECT PCM CONNECTOR FOR POOR
CONNECTION
z
Turn the ignition switch off.
z
Disconnect PCM connector.
z
Inspect for poor connection (such as
damaged/pulled-out pins, corrosion).
z
Are there malfunction?
Yes
Repair or replace suspected part,
then go to Step 9.
No
Go to the next step.

INSPECT FUEL PUMP RELAY POWER SUPPLY
CIRCUIT FOR OPEN CIRCUIT
z
Turn the ignition switch to the ON position (Engine
off).
z
Measure voltage between fuel pump relay
connector terminal C (wiring harness-side) and
body ground.
z
Is voltage B+?
Yes Go to the next step.
No
Repair or replace suspected part,
then go to Step 9.

INSPECT FUEL PUMP MONITOR CIRCUIT FOR
OPEN CIRCUIT
z
Turn the ignition switch off.
z
Inspect continuity between fuel pump relay
terminal D (wiring harness-side) and PCM terminal
1Q (wiring harness-side).
z
Is there continuity?
Yes Go to the next step.
No
Repair or replace suspected part,
then go to Step 9.

INSPECT FUEL PUMP RELAY

Inspect the fuel pump relay. (See

Yes Replace the fuel pump relay, then
go to the next step.
