The manufacturers of disinfectants based on peracetic acid claim that these
agents can also be used for decalci
fi
cation. However, experience has shown that
peracetic acid is not reliable alone, use CleanCart-C cartridge, citric acid or acetic
acid regularly.

Oxalic acid is recommended only when having problems with iron oxide
precipitates (reddish-brown). Oxalic acid increases the wear of the machine.
