21.1. Clasp on the arterial blood line just before the pump

segment. Pull it out while simultaneously turning the

blood pump rotor in an anticlockwise direction. Make

sure that the pins on the blood pump rotor are behind

the pulled out segment while turning the rotor.

21.2. Open the cover of the air detector (press on the middle

of the cover at the same time as the cover is being

opened). Compress the venous drip chamber and then

pull it out as shown in the corresponding

gures.
