Configure DCBX operation at the INTERFACE level on a switch or globally on the
switch. To verify the DCBX configuration on a port, use the
show interface dcbx
detail
command.
NOTE: The
dcbx version
command is not supported on cascade interfaces or
extended ports.
debug dcbx
Enable DCBX debugging.
Syntax debug dcbx {all | auto-detect-timer | config-exchng | fail | mgmt
| resource | sem | tlv}
To disable DCBX debugging, use the
no debug dcbx
command.

: enables all DCBX debugging operations.

auto-detect-timer
: enables traces for DCBX auto-
detect timers.

: enables traces for DCBX failures.

mgmt
: enables traces for DCBX management frames.
•
resource
: enables traces for DCBX system resource
frames.
•
sem
: enables traces for the DCBX state machine.
•
tlv
: enables traces for DCBX TLVs.
