Description
efm-oam
Enables/disables the EFM-OAM protocol.
efm-oam multiple-
pdu-count
Specifies the number of OAMPDUs that will be sent when the protocol
needs to send multiple successive messages (Event Notification
OAMPDU).
efm-oam propagate-
events
Enables the sending of local event notifications to the remote device.
efm-oam log-events
Enables/disables sending of event notification OAMPDUs to the local
Syslog daemon.
efm-oam priority
Sets priority for the sent OAMPDUs.
efm-oam keepalive-

sent packets.
efm-oam hello-
interval
Sets the time interval between two PDUs in milliseconds.
Enabling/Disabling EFM-OAM
The
efm-oam
command, in Protocol Configuration mode, enables/disables the EFM-OAM
protocol and enters into the EFM-OAM Protocol Configuration mode. The
efm-oam
disable/enable
command resets all efm-oam parameters to default values. To disable the protocol
and keep the current configuration, it is recommended to disable the protocol on a specified
interface or interface range.
By default, EFM-OAM is enabled.
