yellow
Match according to Non-conforming precedence level.
set
Sets the following values to packets matching the previously defined
DSCP and conformance level.
dscp
<
dscp-value
>
The DSCP value to set in the range <0-63>.
priority
<
priority-
set
>
The priority value to set in the range <0-7>.
txq
<
queue-set
>
The transmit queue value to set in the range <0-7>.
drop-level
The drop level to set.
green
Sets Conforming precedence level.
yellow
Sets Non-conforming precedence level.
Setting the Priority Remarking Policy
The
qos policy priority
command, in Global Configuration mode, sets the priority remarking
policy for remarking priority and optionally the conformance level by the transmit queue and
conformance level. The
no
form of the command removes the priority remarking policy.
The remarking policy depends on the traffic CoS (Class of Service) parameters. This option allows
setting different QoS policy for different QoS values. The user can set the exceed traffic to be
assigned with QoS parameters different from the parameters that are assigned to the conforming
traffic.
To apply the priority remarking policy, proceed as follows:
1.
Set ACL on the traffic on which the user wants to apply the policy (use the
access-list
command in Global Configuration mode).
2.
Set the priority remarking policy (use the
qos policy priority
command).
3.
Apply the ACG on the incoming interface/VLAN with the
option
keyword (use the
ip/mac
access-group
command in Interface/VLAN Configuration mode).
4.
Use the
rate-limit
command in
Interface VLAN ACG Configuration mode to apply the policy
settings on the incoming traffic.
For more information regarding the ACL configuration see chapter “
Configuring Access Control
Lists (ACLs)
”.
By default, no policy is defined.
