Setting the Accounting and Encryption Key
The
radius-acc-server key
command, in Global Configuration mode, specifies the accounting and
encryption key used between the device and the RADIUS daemon running on the RADIUS
accounting server. The
no
form of this command removes the password.

Argument Description
STRING
The secret character string is used as a password that the device shares with the
RADIUS accounting server.

radius-acc-server retransmit
Specifies the number of times the device transmits each
RADIUS accounting request.
radius-acc-server timeout
Specifies the number of seconds the device waits for a
reply to a RADIUS accounting request.
radius-acc-server deadtime
Specifies the number of minutes the access server waits
for a response from a RADIUS accounting server before
skipping to the next server.
show radius-client source-ip
Displays the RADIUS client source IP address.
Setting the Number of RADIUS Accounting Request
Retransmissions
The
radius-acc-server
retransmit
command, in Global Configuration mode, specifies the number
of times a RADIUS accounting request is resent to a server if that server is not responding or if it
responds slowly. The
no
form of this command restores the allowed number of retransmissions to
the default value of 3.
