Table 6: The Global Parameters Displayed by the STP show Commands
Parameter
Description
Spanning tree
The spanning global state.
ProtocolSpecification
The protocol standard.
Priority
The bridge priority, which is part of the bridge identifier.
TimeSinceTopologyChange
Counts in seconds of the time elapsed since to Topology Change
flag parameter for the bridge was last TRUE.
TopChanges
Counts of the number of times the Topology Change flag
parameter for the bridge has been set since the device was
powered up.
DesignatedRoot
The unique Bridge Identifier of the bridge assumed to be the
Root.
This parameter is used as the value of the Root Identifier
parameter in all Configuration BPDUs transmitted by the bridge.
MaxAge
The maximum age in seconds of received protocol information
before it is discarded.
HelloTime
The time interval in seconds between the transmission of
Configuration BPDUs by a Bridge that is attempting to become
the Root or is the Root.
