Argument Description
minutes
(Optional). The timeout value in the range <0-35791> minutes.
seconds
(Optional). Addition of seconds to the timeout value that was defined in
minutes in the range <0-59> seconds.
unlimited
(Optional). Sets timeout value to be unlimited.

Filtering Telnet Connections by IP Address
The
access-class
command, in VTY Configuration mode, filters Telnet and SSH connections to the
device. The
no
form of this command removes access restrictions.
If no access list name is specified in the
no access-class
command, all the access classes will be
removed.
To use the access class, proceed as follows:
1.
Create a named access list with the
access-list
command in Global Configuration mode.
2.
Enter into VTY Configuration mode with the
line vty
command in Global Configuration mode.
3.
Create the access class with the
access-class
command.

ACL-NAME
The Telnet connections are restricted to the addresses specified in the named
access list.
