Configuring the Test Reaction Options
The
rtr reaction-configuration
command, in Global Configuration mode, sets the test reaction
options.
To receive notifications the user should configure the
pingProbeFailed, pingTestCompleted,
pingTestFailed
notifications in SNMP by using the
snmp-server notify
command in Global
Configuration mode.
By default, the number of failed ping probes/tests after which the reaction will be performed is 1.

Argument Description
TEST-NAME
The name of the test.
OWNER-NAME
(Optional). The name of the owner of the test.
action-type trapOnly
The action type that can be an SNMP notification only.
pingProbeFailed
Send the
pingProbeFailed
notification.
pingTestCompleted
Send the
pingTestCompleted
notification.
probe-failed
(Optional). Number of failed ping probes after which the reaction
will be performed. The number is in the range <0-15>.
pingTestFailed
Send the
pingTestFailed
notification.
test-failed
(Optional). Number of failed ping tests after which the reaction
will be performed. The number is in the range <0-15>.

Scheduling the Test Execution
The
rtr schedule
command, in Global Configuration mode, schedules the test execution. The
no
form of this command disables the scheduled test.
The test can be scheduled for execution
now, pending
or
after a period of time
.
If the test is already scheduled, the
rtr schedule
test pend
command will disable it.
