SCHEDULER NAME

]
Argument Description
SCHEDULER NAME
The new scheduler name used in the
parent
command by children
queues or schedulers. This is a text string of up to 6 characters.
root
(Optional). Each scheduler policy has a root scheduler. When creating a
scheduler the
root
keyword sets the new scheduler as the root scheduler
for the scheduler policy.
Applying Shaper on a Scheduler
The
shaper
command, in Scheduler Ingress/Egress Policy Configuration mode, defines a dual
shaper for the scheduler.
The
no
form of this command deletes the scheduler shaper.
Command Syntax

Argument Description
shaping-profile-id

Defining Scheduler Parent
The
parent
command, in Scheduler Ingress/Egress Policy Configuration mode, sets the parent
scheduler and defines a relative weight for this scheduler. The parent must have been created prior
to creating the scheduler.
The
no
form of this command removes the parent scheduler.
Without the parent scheduler, the traffic from children queues will be dropped. This command is
not valid for schedulers created as root schedulers.
