Setting Retransmission Interval before First Initial Path Message
The
rsvp-init-path-interval
command, in Router Configuration mode, sets the rapid
retransmission interval (in milliseconds) to wait before resending the First Initial Path message
when no acknowledgement is received. A Path message is considered an initial Path if it is the Path
message creating the LSP or a Path refresh message that requires re-routing.
The
no
form of this command sets this parameter to its default value of 2000 milliseconds.
