Specifying the Number of OAMPDUs
The
efm-oam multiple-pdu-count
command, in Protocol Configuration mode, specifies the
number of OAMPDUs that will be sent when the protocol needs to send multiple successive
messages (Event Notification OAMPDU). The
no
form of the command restores the default value
of 5 OAMPDUs.
Command Syntax
device-name
(cfg protocol)#
efm-oam multiple-pdu-count <pdu-count>
device-name
(cfg protocol)#

efm-oam multiple-pdu-count
Argument Description
pdu-count
Specifies the number of identical PDUs in the range of <1-10>. These PDUs
will be sent when the local event occurs and requires propagation to the remote
device. The default value is 5.

Enabling/Disabling Sending of Local Event Notifications to
Remote Device
The
efm-oam propagate-events
command, in Protocol Configuration mode, enables the sending
of local event notifications to the remote device. The

form of the command disables the event
propagation.
By default, the event propagation is enabled.
