Multiple DHCP Relay Agents
Several DHCP relay agents can be used in one network by tag assignment. Each DHCP relay agent
is assigned a unique tag number for identification. This tag enables the DHCP server to distinguish
between the DHCP relay agents.
Figure 17
is an example of two DHCP relay agents connected to one DHCP relay. The tag
distinguishes between the two DHCP relay agents at the DHCP server.
