Setting the Global Egress Label Range
The
mpls egress-label-range
command, in Global Configuration mode, specifies the range for the
egress label value on a global device label pool. The egress label range relates to the labels which
are provided by the
device
to a neighboring MPLS router. To remove the specified range use the
no
form of the command.
By default, the Global Egress Label Range is disabled.
Command Syntax
device-name
(config)#
mpls egress-label-range <28672-131071> <28672-131071>
device-name
(config)#
no
mpls egress-label-range
Argument Description
28672-131071
Specifies minimum egress label value in the range <28672-131071>. The
minimum egress label value must be less than the maximum egress label
value.
28672-131071
Specifies maximum egress label value in the range <28672-131071>. The
maximum egress label value must be greater than the minimum egress label
value.
Adding Ingress/Egress Marking Rule
The
mpls ingress/egress
command
,
in Global Configuration mode, creates a new rule for marking
a route or a group of routes as ingress or egress. This is used to determine the routes that LDP will
use for negotiating labels. The
no
form of this command removes the specified rule.
NOTE
This command only affects LDP-signaled LSPs.

Argument Description
ingress
Specifies that this rule will define an ingress route.
egress
Specifies that this rule will define an egress route.
kernel
Specifies all kernel routes.
connected
Specifies all directly connected routes.
static
Specifies all static routes.
rip
Specifies all routes learned by the RIP protocol.
ospf
Specifies all routes learned by the OSPF protocol.
