Usage Guidelines
The maximum access of all tables is read-write, that is, the user is not able to manually create
entries. Entries appear when the SAA module is installed and connected. Configuration is
performed by changing the value of the read-write objects. Object dependencies are described
above in each object’s individual description.
All tables in the SAA-MIB which allow row creation behave according to the rules set by the
RowStatus textual convention. For object dependencies refer to the description of each object
above.
Setting the Maximal Number of Concurrent SAA Tests
In the
DISMAN-PING-MIB
with the help of
pingMaxConcurrentRequests
object
(1.3.6.1.2.1.80.1.1)
is executed the following action:
1. Set the maximum number of concurrent active tests by setting the
pingMaxConcurrentRequests
with value 5:

default, the maximum number of concurrent active tests is 10.

Configure an SAA Test
In the

1. Start a new SAA test (Create new row in pingCtlTable by setting pingCtlRowStatus of the entry
with default ownerIndex and “T1” to createAndWait(5)):
