NOTE
A static CPU cache has been implemented where static MAC entries, defined
using the
ip arp
command, are stored. The software will first look up in this static
CPU cache before looking up in the cache containing dynamic MAC entries.

Command
Description
router ip-table
Enters into the IP Table Configuration mode.
ip-forward
Enables routing between the configured IP interfaces (subnets).
Entering into the IP Table Configuration Mode
The
router ip-table
command, in Global Configuration mode, enters into the IP Table
Configuration mode.

Enabling Routing
The
ip-forward
command, in IP Table Configuration mode, enables routing between the
configured IP interfaces (subnets).
Disabling the IP forwarding will disable the routing on the entire device.
By default, the routing is enabled on the device.
