Configuring Static LAGs
To set the static LAG, proceed as follows:
1.
Set the ports participating in the static LAG. See
Adding a Port to a Static Link Aggregation
Group
.
2.
The user can set a name to the LAG group. See
Setting a Name for a Static LAG
.

Command

link-aggregation static id
Adds the configured interface to the specified static link
aggregation group (in Interface Configuration mode).
link-aggregation static id
Sets a user-defined name for a specified static aggregate
specified by the LAG id number (in Global Configuration
mode).
Adding a Port to a Static Link Aggregation Group
The
link-aggregation static id
command, in Interface Configuration mode, adds the configured
interface to the specified static link aggregation group. The
no
form of the
command removes the
configured interface from the static LAG to which it belongs.
Giga Ethernet uses only
Argument id
. The user must set the ID number for any kind of interface.
NOTE
The
link-aggregation static
command replaces the
trunk
command.
