MPLS Configuration in LDP Targeted Peer Mode

Command
Description
targeted-peer
Changes the active targeted LDP-peer configuration mode or creates
a new mode if there is no targeted peer

hello-hold-time
Sets the time (in seconds) for LDP to wait before tearing down an
adjacency, if it has not received a hello-message from the address
that caused the adjacency to be set up.
keepalive-hold-time
Sets the time for LDP to wait before tearing down a session if it has
not received an LDP protocol message or Keep-alive message from
the peer LDP entity.
shutdown
Temporarily disables the targeted peer.
Changing the LDP Targeted Peer
The
targeted-peer
command, in LDP Targeted Peer mode, changes the active targeted LDP-peer
configuration mode or creates a new mode if there is no targeted peer.

Specifies the IP address of the targeted peer.
Setting the Hello Hold Timer
The
hello-hold-time
command, in LDP Targeted Peer mode, sets the time (in seconds) for LDP to
wait before tearing down an adjacency, if it has not received a hello-message from the address that
caused the adjacency to be set up.
The
no
form of this command sets the Hello Hold Time to its default value of 45.
NOTE
If the MPLS LDP Hello Hold Timer is set to its maximum value, the timer is set to
infinity.
