Configuration Example
Providing End-to-End HQoS to Three Customers
The goal of this example is to provide End-to-End HQoS to three different customers. Each of the
three customers has two offices that use different kind of traffic when corresponding to each other.
For every customer different scheduler and queue policies are configured.
Service Ingress Scheduler Policies:
•
Gold scheduler policy - handles the traffic of customer Bank offices (three priority levels
for the 3 different types of traffic are configured for this customer, VoIP1, VPN1 and
Internet). The policy includes WRED on service ingress queue and wfq between service
ingress queues. The VoIP traffic is assigned highest priority. The VPN and Internet
services share a common ingress queue with the WRED profile applied on it.
•
Silver scheduler policy - handles the traffic of customer Corp1 (two priority levels are
configured for this customer, VoIP2 and VPN2). The policy includes WFQ between L2
service ingress schedulers and the Shaping profile on the L1 service ingress scheduler. The
VoIP traffic is assigned higher priority.
