Filter wheel cable W507 or W509 (10)
7. Release and remove the four screws (11, two each side) securing the Collimator (4 mm allen
wrench).
8. Remove the Collimator (12).
9. Release and remove the two screws (13) securing the Fil-
ter Wheel assembly (2.5 mm allen wrench).
10. Carefully remove the faulty Filter Wheel assembly.
11. Insert a new Filter Wheel assembly.
12. Reattach the two screws (13) to secure the Filter Wheel
(2.5 mm allen wrench).
13. Replace the Collimator (14).
14. Reattach the four screws (15, two each side) securing
the Collimator (4 mm allen wrench).
15. Use a torque wrench to tighten the four screws (2, two
each side) to 3.0 Nm
±
0.2 Nm.
16. Apply Blue Loctite 243 around the heads of the four
screws (2, two each side).
17. Reconnect four cables.

Filter wheel cable W507 or W509 (19)
18. Reattach the two screws securing the connector pro-
tection box (20) (small cross-head screwdriver).
19. Replace the X-ray containment box. If necessary, first
reattach the two screws (21) which secure the fan pro-
tection box (3 mm allen wrench).
20. Reattach the four screws (22, two each side) which
secure the X-ray containment box (23) (4 mm allen
wrench).
21. Reconnect the plate and FOV button.
22. Reattach the two screws (24, one each side) securing
the rear plate (25) which supports the FOV button (4 mm allen wrench).
23. Check visually that all screws securing the Collimator are well mounted.
