27.4 System Maintenance
27.4.1 Fault Diagnosis
If operation state “NG” is indicated on
CMNT
command, check the cause of fault following the procedure below
and take countermeasures on SR-MGC to keep normal stand-by mode.
START
1. Is the PWR Lamp lighting green?
2. Is the LAN1 LINK Lamp lighting green?
The first Health Check between Telephony Server (MGC) and SR-MGC is started.
SR-MGC remains stand-by mode.
Is the AC Power Cable firmly connected? Is the PWR switch turned ON?
Is the electricity provided on the plug?
The SR-MGC may not be physically connected to the LAN. Check the LAN cable between the SR-MGC
and network device such as SW HUB/Router.
Use a LAN cable (straight-through).
Test the continuity in the LAN cable.
Make sure the network device (SW HUB or Router) is turned ON.
If the problem is not cleared, change the LAN cable or change the network device.
Considered to be network connection failure if System Message [10-F] is output on Telephony Server
(MGC), check the LAN cables and network device.
Check whether the related System Message is output using
DFTD
command in the main office, and confirm the
office data setting in the Flash card of Telephony Server (MGC) and SR-MGC.
MGC: Check the IP network data and Health Check data using PCPro commands
ASYDL
