[4] Open a DOS window; enter
ping 172.223.12.45
(SR-MGC(E) address); press the Enter
key.
[5] Make sure that you get replies from the SR-MGC(E) (172.223.12.45, in this case).
[6] Run PCPro and login to the SR-MGC(E).
STEP 13: Test PCPro operation.
Make sure that you can use PCPro properly.
STEP 14: Assign office data for the SR-MGC(E) to the MGC.
With PCPro logging-in to the MGC, perform the CMNT command to assign office data for the SR-
MGC(E) belonging to the MGC.
For the procedure to assign the data, see
<Data Assignment on the Telephony Server (MGC)> , which is
described as for a Two-Unit SR-MGC but the procedure is same as an SR-MGC(E).
STEP 15: Copy office data from the MGC to the SR-MGC(E).
Use the CMNT command to copy office data from MGC to SR-MGC(E).
The parameters in the CMNT command differ according to the software version of your system.
[For FP85-109 S6 or later version]
• Office Data Copy & Load: Perform the CMNT command; open the File Control tab. Select Of-
fice Data Copy & Load from PROCESS TYPE to copy the office data.
• Select All button: Click the Select All button to execute office data or program copy to all the
SR-MGCs in the network.
• Clear All button: Click the Clear All button to return all the SR-MGC Numbers to the state of
No Processing Request.
• Specifying SR-MGC: Specify the target SR-MGC number (0-255), the box of specified SR-
MGC number is displayed in yellow. And then click the Execute button.
To undo specifying SR-MGC, click the box again.
* The meanings of displayed data are as follow.
Indicated Color Status of SR-MGC
Gray SR-MGC Number is not accommodated
White No processing request
Yellow On standby (Already requested to execute the process)
Blue Under processing
Green Succeeded in processing
Red Failed in processing
Magenta (Pink)
Cannot execute, because SR-MGC is assigned as the
Backup node
