1.3 Precautions
1.3.1 Precautions in accommodating SIP terminals
Accommodating SIP-compatible equipment (

) into the existing network shared with IP PBX, the
version of IP equipment accommodated in the system might cause a failure in connection with SIP-com-
patible equipment. To avoid this failure, you need to check to see if the corresponding versions are in-
stalled in the equipment (

). If the versions are inappropriate, you have to upgrade them to the
applicable firmware.

For more information on SIP-compatible equipment, see “Quick Reference Sheet” of “Introduction”.
Note 2:
In the case of using FCCS Networking via IP by PHC (Point-to-Point) or CCIS Networking via IP
(Point-to-Point), you need to check the IP equipment used as the connected destination.
If the version installed in the equipment is older than the required version, you need to upgrade it to the proper
version. Note that all of the IP equipment other than devices mentioned below is compatible since the first re-
lease.
