CONFIGURATION SETUP
<Conditions>
(1) Firmware Auto Update is provided for DT700 Series. Other terminals are not supported.
(2) Internet Explorer 6 or later version is required to use this feature.
(3) It is required to activate HTTP server by ADTM in advance.
(4) ID: “ftpuser” and Password: “firmupdate” are specified for FTP user account. This “ftpuser” account can-
not login via telnet.
(5) The physical IP address of LAN1 on the Telephony Server is specified to access the HTTP server via a web
browser:
•
In single configuration system, IP address (ACT) is specified.
•
In dual configuration system, IP address (System-0/System-1) is specified.
(6) When the system is in dual configuration, both Telephony Servers (System #0 & #1) need the setting on
the browser - uploading firmware and establishing automatic updating.
(7) When uploading a file whose name has been already used by another file existing on the Telephony Server,
warning message appears to ask whether to overwrite the existing file.
(8) On the file uploading window, 24MB or more size of firmware file cannot be uploaded. Any firmware files
with the file name including other than single-byte of numeric and alphabet characters cannot be uploaded,
either.
(9) ID: “admin” and Password: “mainte” are required for authentication on accessing the HTTP server. The
password for authentication is sent/received encrypted (Basic authentication is used).
(10) The start time of Firmware Auto Update is selected from Right now to maximum 24 hours later.
(11) Back button on Internet Explorer is available to back to the former window to change the parameter set-
tings.
(12) When the close button on Internet Explorer is clicked halfway through the setting, data change does not
affect.
(13) In the setting window of Firmware Auto Update, whether the uploaded firmware file is correct cannot be
checked.
(14) To execute firmware updating also to the terminals already having completed registration, only the termi-
nals need to update are directed to start downloading one by one and reset. Terminals not executed down-
loading can be used continuously. (When login mode is used, login display is shown after resetting.)
(15) Firmware update is not executed on the busy or dialing terminals. They start updating after releasing their
lines. Ringing terminals start firmware updating.
(16) When the terminals try registration simultaneously over the number of download capacity, terminals start
up normally after establishing registration for the mean time. After that, as soon as the number of available
download space opens, the terminals start downloading one by one.
