STEP 9: Execute the Program Copy.
Follow the procedure below to copy the program from the FTP server to SR-MGC.
[1]
Execute the CMNT command and open the File Control tab. Select Program Copy
from PROCESS TYPE.
[2]
Click the target SR-MGC number to perform a Program Copy. A box of the number
you have specified will turn to yellow. Click the number again to cancel the designa-
tion. When the designation is cancelled, the color of the box turns to white (meaning
No Processing Request) again.
[3]
Check the box for Appoint Stop Time or Restrict Concurrent Number to specify the
time to stop the program copy forcibly or to specify the number of SR-MGCs to allow
concurrent copying of a program file.
Note:
Observe the following when setting the data for Program Copy.
• Specify the Time to Stop the Program Copy in the range of 0 to 23 for hour and 0 to 59 for minute.
• Set the Time to Stop the Program Copy late enough to complete the Program Copy. It takes about 2
hours in minimum to complete the Program Copy.
• Specify the Concurrent Number for Restrict Concurrent Number in the range of 1 to 255.
• When the Restrict Concurrent Number is disabled, a download of a program file will be executed con-
currently to all SR-MGCs that are selected. However, when the FTP server has a limitation on con-
current connection, the download of a program file may fail due to a connection denial of multiple SR-
MGCs.
[4]
Click the Execute button. A confirmation dialog box asking whether to start the Pro-
gram Copy appears. Click OK to start the Program Copy.
Note:
Click the Cancel button to cancel the Program Copy.

When the Program Copy completes, a dialog box with a message “Executed process
succeeded.” appears.
