Error Messages
The following messages might be displayed when an error occurs during DT700 Series setup.
Note:
“SIP server” used in this section refers to the Telephony Server. The Telephony Server acts as SIP server
where DT700 Series terminal is registered.
Error Messages on DT700 Series (Setup)

Parameter is abnormal
In spite of “DHCP Disable,” the IP ad-
dress of the terminal has not been as-
signed. Or, there is a defect to the
setting of DT700 Series.
(From this indication, configuration
display can be shown by the ordinary
configuration data assignment opera-
tion.)
•
Correct the data assignment.
•
Check the data assignment on “config”
display, saving the data again.
•
If the error still remains, the flash
ROM may be faulty.
DHCP server cannot be found.
No answer from the DHCP server, after
sending a request from the DT700 Se-
ries.
(From this indication, configuration
display can be shown by the ordinary
configuration data assignment opera-
tion.)
•
Connect a DHCP server to the same
network.
•
Check that a DHCP server and the
DT700 Series are connected to the net-
work.
•
Check that a DHCP server is operating
normally.
•
Check that the network equipment is
connected correctly.
•
When the DT700 Series is not used,
set the parameter to “DHCP Disable”.
DHCP Lease Parameter Error
Not operable because of a discrepancy
in the optional information acquired
from DHCP.
•
If it is failed again, contact the mainte-
nance person.
SIP server cannot be found.
No answer from the SIP server, after
sending a request from the DT700
Series.
(From this indication, configuration
display can be shown by the ordinary
configuration data assignment
operation.)
DNS server cannot be connected, or
name solution is failed if FQDN is
designated to SIP server address.
•
Connect a SIP server to the same net-
work.
•
Check that a SIP server and the DT700
Series are connected to the network.
•
Check that a SIP server is operating
normally.
•
Check the SIP server address again.
•
When the DT700 Series is not used,
set the parameter to “DHCP Disable”.
SIP server cannot be supported.
SIP server does not support operation
by the connected equipment.
•
Connect a DT700 Series that is sup-
ported by the SIP server.
