CONFIGURATION SETUP
[2] Configuration Setting by Web Programming
STEP 1: Select [Maintenance]
→
[Data Clear]
→
[Factory Value].
STEP 2: Clicking the “OK” button will return all the parameters to factory default settings.
STEP 3: Select [Network Settings]
→
[DHCP Mode].
STEP 4: Select “1. Disable” radio button (DHCP is disabled). Click the “OK” button.
STEP 5: Select [Network Settings]
→
[IP Address].
STEP 6: Enter the IP address of the DT700 Series terminal. Click the “OK” button.
STEP 7: Select [Network Settings]
→
[Default Gateway].
STEP 8: Enter the IP address of default gateway (router). Click the “OK” button.
STEP 9: Select [Network Settings]
→
[Subnet Mask].
STEP 10: Enter subnet mask. Click the “OK” button.
STEP 11: Depending on the way to specify SIP server, perform either of the following:
a. When SIP server is specified by IP address:
→
Go to STEP 14.
b. When SIP server is specified by FQDN:
→
Go to STEP 12.
Note:
Assign DNS server’s IP address on DT700 Series configuration setting.
STEP 12: Select [Network Settings]
→
[DNS Address].
STEP 13: Enter the IP address of DNS server. Click the “OK” button.
STEP 14: Select [SIP Settings]
→
[Server Address & URI]
→
[1st Server Address].
a. To specify SIP server by IP address:
Assign the IP address of SIP server, and then click the “OK” button.
b. To specify SIP server by FQDN:
Assign fully qualified domain name of SIP server, and then click the “OK” button. 0-9, A-Z, a-z, *,
#, . (period), - (hyphen), and _(underscore) is available to use for domain name entry (maximum
128 characters).
Note:
DNS server’s assignment is necessary when using fully qualified domain name. See “IP Address Setting for
DNS Server” for details.
Note 1:
About IP address of SIP server (Telephony Server), refer to “Registration Destination of IP Devices/Sta-
tions” in INTRODUCTION of Installation Manual.
STEP 15: If there are backup SIP servers in the network, continue assigning 2nd, 3rd and 4th SIP server.
- Click [2nd Server Address] to assign the second SIP server.
- Click [3rd Server Address] to assign the third SIP server.
- Click [4th Server Address] to assign the fourth SIP server.
STEP 16: As in STEP 8, specify the SIP server by IP address or FQDN. Click the “OK” button after assigning
the data.
STEP 17: Click the “Save” button. After setting is complete, SIP server begins setup for DT700 Series.
