Click [Exit] to close the command.
<Data Assignment by ATDL Command>
STEP 11
Activate the ATDL command, and then specify the following:
- Select an item of External Server in FTP Server Setup.
- Input the IP address of FTP server.
- Input Login Name and Password for logging in to FTP server if required.
- Select an item of Specify File Storage Directory, and specify the directory name.
- Select an item of Parallel in Download Method.
- Confirm MG(BRI) SIP is displayed in Firmware File Name. If it is not in the list, create an
item by clicking the Insert button. Set the following attributes, and then click the OK button.
[Terminal Type: MG-BRI SIP]
[HWTP: A3]
[HWVER: Not checked]
[File Name: mgbrisiplist.txt]
After completing the above, click the Insert button located in Terminal Information.
STEP 12
Select Specify Terminal Type in How to Specify Terminal, and then select “MG-BRI SIP”.
STEP 13
Click the Search button.
STEP 14
After the MG(BRI)s are displayed in Result of Search, select the appropriate MG(BRI) to be
upgraded the firmware.
Note:
If you narrow them down by specifying Terminal Type in the ATDL command, MG(BRI)s will be displayed
per registered channel. Therefore, when multiple channels are registered in an MG(BRI), in the box, the
same MG(BRI) is displayed more than once. To avoid setting upgrade task to the target MG(BRI) more then
once, select either one of the channels used in the MG(BRI) by checking LENS.
STEP 15
Click the Add to the Terminal List button to go back to the main screen.
STEP 16
Click the Exe button to upgrade the firmware to the target MG(BRI)s.
“Upgrade is succeeded” is displayed. Note that version information in the screen is not up-
dated at this time. If the upgrade is failed, click the Close button, and then go back to STEP3.
Note:
Although whether or not download process is completed, the MG(BRI) automatically restarts.
STEP 17
After upgrade is completed, click the Close button on the status window. In the main screen,
click the Exit button to close the ATDL command.
STEP 18
To confirm the firmware, activate the DIPI command.
STEP 19
Select “ISDN Trunk (BRI)[SIP]” in “SIP Media Gateway”, and then click the Execute button.
STEP 20
Confirm that the firmwares in the appropriate ones are upgraded.
The issue of the file in the screen is indicated as follows:
