STEP 9
Activate HyperTerminal and set the following:
Bit per second: 9600bps
Data bits: 8bit
Parity: None
Stop bit:1bit
Flow control: None
STEP 10
Reboot MG(BRI) (OFF
->
ON).
STEP 11
Connect AC adapter to MG(BRI) (or turn on the switch).
STEP 12
When the message “Starting MG(BRI) boot program...” appears, press ESC key within 5 sec-
onds.
STEP 13
Enter “cmd” for Input.
STEP 14
Enter “ipxadmin” for password.
STEP 15
After a prompt (
>>>Set command :
) is displayed, enter “download”.
STEP 16
The File Download mode is displayed. Input “3” (Download of Tone payload data).
STEP 17
Enter the Downloading file name and Tone data area number.
STEP 18
Confirm the entered download file name and Tone data area number. If they are correct, input
“y”.
STEP 19
Input “n” (set the existing IP address) for MG(BRI)’s IP address set, if the default IP address
is not correct, input “y” and enter the proper IP address.
STEP 20
Input “n” (set the existing IP address) for TFTP's IP address set, if the default IP address is
not correct, input “y” and enter the proper IP address.
STEP 21
Make sure correct IP addresses are set in TFTP server and MG(BRI). And then input “y” if
they are correct.
STEP 22
After all the download is completed, enter “q” to reboot the system. If other tone data is re-
quired, enter “3” and back to Tone downloading display.
Note:
Tone data can be downloaded a maximum of 3 files.
<Confirmation of MG(BRI) Operation>
STEP 23
Connect the MG(BRI) to a network, and reboot MG(BRI).
STEP 24
To confirm MG(BRI) Tone data is downloaded correctly, check the status of setting, and con-
firm the SM number of Tone information on screen.
