SR-MGC(S)
[For FP85-108 S5 or earlier version]
• Copy office data: perform the CMNT command; open the Office Data Copy tab.
• Specifying SR-MGC: Select if you want to copy office data to specific SR-MGC(S)s.
SR-MGC number: Click on SR-MGC numbers to which you want to copy office data; the
numbers turn yellow. Click on a number again if you want to eliminate;
the number turns white, meaning non-specified.
• All SR-MGC (en bloc specifying): Select if you want to copy office data to all SR-MGC(S)s.
Note:
SR-MGC numbers whose corresponding SR-MGCs are accommodated are indicated in yellow; non-ac-
commodated numbers are indicated in gray.
Note:
In an FCCS network, SR-MGC numbers accommodated in backup nodes are indicated in magenta
(pink). You cannot specify them as copied SR-MGCs.
* The meanings of displayed data are as follow.
STEP 16: Initialize the SR-MGC(S).
If office data are successfully copied, the MGC is supposed to request the SR-MGC(S) to initialize. So
after finishing copy process, wait for the SR-MGC(S) to be initialized (about five minutes) without any
action.
STEP 17: Paste the label.
Paste the label attached to the CF card onto the main unit of SR-MGC(S).
Note:
The location where to paste the label is stated on the pasteboard of the label.
Now you are done. SR-MGC(S) should be set up.
[For Reference]
Especially in the case of the following, you definitely need to initialize the SR-MGC(S).
• You performed office data copy against an SR-MGC(S) whose CF card did not have any office
data file.
• You performed office data copy after changing MGC data which needed initialization.
