MG(BRI) [SCA-2BRIA/MG-2BRIA]
7.
ISDN line can be connected both in Point-to-Multipoint connection or Point-to-Point connection. How-
ever, be careful for the following.
•
In the case of Point to Point Connection, the TEI value is fixed to 0.
•
In the case of Point to Multi Point Connection, TEI Automatic Assignment is available.
•
Use the CDN 91 of ARTI command to select the Point to Point Connection or Point to Multi Point Con-
nection.
•
When using emergency telephone, user needs to have an ISDN line contract status according to the
specification of the ISDN line interface of the emergency telephone to be used.
•
Length of call reference value (in octets) is 1 byte and Dch cannot be shared.
8.
Voice communication and unrestricted digital communication is available. MG(BRI) only supports
64kbps of unrestricted digital communication.
Data communication more than 128kbps, H0 exchange, Dch packet and Bch packet are not supported.
9.
Interface available is only Q.931 and connection to public ISDN network is available.
MG(BRI) cannot accommodate ISDN terminal.
MG(BRI) cannot be used with Tie-line connection.
10. The fault detection for ISDN line is operated as same as the ordinary ISDN lines (both Layer 1 and Layer
2). Call origination/termination is unavailable when MG(BRI) is in faulty condition.
11. SP-PHI and MG(BRI) is connected by UDP/IP. Routine diagnosis is activated by NOTIFY message. Sys-
tem Message [33-R: IP PKG warning] is output when fault is detected.
12. Re-routing follows the LCR feature if ISDN line or UDP/IP failure occurs.
13. Initialize the MG(BRI) by the operation below after the port number change. (Changed data will be effec-
tive after the initialization.)
•
System Initialization
•
Telephony Server power OFF/ON
•
Internal PHE module initialization by ADPM command
•
Data change of MPH or SP-PHI by ALIDL command (other than gaining REGMAX parameter)
14. The QoS value used for SP-PHI side is assigned by ALOCL command. Assign LOC-ID to the network
address corresponding to the LAN1 IP address of the Telephony Server, and the QoS value assigned to the
LOC-ID is applied to SP-PHI.
ToS (QoS) setting and Control Signal packet used for MG(BRI) side is assigned by AMGIL command.
Media stream is assigned by AMGVL command.
15. PAD value assigned by AMGVL command and AIVCL command takes precedence.
16. Echo Canceller (EC) setting by AMGVL and AIVCL commands takes precedence.
17. Echo Canceller (EC) training function is available between MG(BRI) and ISDN network.
Note:
EC training: MG(BRI) sends out EC training tone to ISDN network when station answers a call and the
tone crosses ISDN network to converge echo on an early stage.
