Select each of the reference lines or reference planes, and click

parameter is a value other than Not a Reference.

Align and lock the reference lines or reference planes to the parallel edges of the component.
When loaded into a project, the shape handles will display at this location.

Add a dimension between the reference lines or reference planes that you aligned in the previous
step.

Select the dimension.

On the Options Bar, select a label from the Label list, or click Add Parameter and create a new
parameter for the dimension. For more information, see
