1. Make sure you have the anti-theft code for the radio
and the navigation system, then write down the
frequencies for the radio’s preset buttons.
2. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery first,
then disconnect the positive cable.
3. Drain the engine coolant (see page 10-13).
4. Remove the radiator cover.
5. Remove the harness clamp (A), then remove the
bulkhead bracket (B).
6. Remove the battery.
7. Remove the engine wire harness connectors from
the battery base.
8. Remove the ground cable (A) and relay box bracket
(B).
