4.4 Maintenance/Check Procedure
NOTE
: Window supports 1 and 2 should be tightened to
torque value 5.4 N·m using a torque wrench (for bolt
diameter M11). (If a torque wrench is unavailable,
manually tighten the window supports as far as
possible, and then retighten them at an referential
angle of about 45
°
with a double-ended wrench (bolt
diameter M11). If liquid leakage or pressure drop is
found at this time, tighten the window supports
further about 5
°
.)
Clamp screws 1 and 2 should be tightened manually
as far as possible, and then further tighten about
120
°
with a double-ended wrench (bolt diameter 1/4
inch). The cell lid, pressure withstanding cell and
cell receptacle have holes for liquid leaking.
After assembling, be sure to confirm that those holes
are positioned at the bottom.
NOTE
: The flow cell will be broken if the window supports 1
and 2 are tightened to a torque higher than specified.
Prepare a torque wrench (or protractor) and tighten
the supports exactly to the specified torque.
