4.3 Periodic
Checkup
4.3.1 Check of Liquid Leak Sensor
For detection of liquid leak, a liquid leak sensor is mounted.
However, if the sensor is contaminated, liquid leak might not be
detected properly. To prevent this, checkup and cleaning
should be carried out periodically.
(1) Check of Leak Sensor Activation
Drip water on the liquid leak sensor and check if leak error
occurs.
Drip water.

NOTE
: When using the liquid leak sensor, follow the
instructions given below.
(a) Before using a solvent, the leak sensor
function should be activated.
(b) The leak sensor function of this detector may
fail to work for leak in a very small amount.
The function may also fail to work for a
solvent having a high volatility.
Always check for liquid leak so as to
circumvent a serious situation even when the
leak sensor function is activated.
(c) Before measurement, visually check for liquid
leak as a routine checkup.
(d) Check the leak sensor for proper functioning
as a periodic checkup.
