57.Network Management Commands
SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) is a protocol to monitor and
manage network-connected devices via network. Target devices have a
management information database called MIB (Management Information
Base). SNMP monitors and controls them through access to their MIBs
using an external management manager.
57.1. enable snmp
Description
This command is used to enable the SNMP function. When SNMP function is disabled, the
network manager will not be able to access SNMP MIB objects. The device will not send
traps or notification to network manager either.
