The master/slave functionality is realized using analog signals
or PROFIBUS–DP.
Note
Master/slave operation is only possible for motors with encoders!
An example of a coupling between two drives with analog input/out-
puts is described in Chapter 6.6.5.
The following example shows a coupling with PROFIBUS–DP.

released (the coupling is opened) then at the same time the slave drive
