snmp-server trap-source
Configure a specific interface as the source for SNMP traffic.

Syntax
snmp-server trap-source
interface
To disable sending traps out a specific interface, use the
no snmp trap-source
command.
Parameters
interface
Enter the following keywords and slot/port or number
information:
• For a Loopback interface, enter the keyword
loopback
then a number from 0 to 16383.
• For a 10-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword
TenGigabitEthernet
then the slot/port information.
• For a 40-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword
fortyGigE
then the slot/port information.
• For VLAN interface, enter the keyword
vlan
then a
number from 1 to 4094.
Defaults
The IP address assigned to the management interface is the default.
