Usage
Information
The following describes the
show fefd
command shown in the following
example.
Field
Description
Interface
Displays the interfaces type and number.
Mode
Displays the mode (aggressive or normal) or NA if the
interface contains
fefd reset
in its configuration.
Interval
Displays the interval between FEFD packets.
State
Displays the state of the interface and can be one of the
following:
• bi-directional (interface is up, connected and hearing
neighbor’s echoes).
• err-disabled (only found when FEFD mode is aggressive
and when the interface has not hearing its neighbor’s
echoes for three times the message interval. To reset an
interface in this state, use the
fefd reset
command.)
• unknown (only found when FEFD mode is normal.
• locally disabled (interface contains the
fefd reset
command in its configuration).
• Admin Shutdown (interface is disabled with the
shutdown
command).
Example
Dell#sh fefd
FEFD is globally 'ON', interval is 10 seconds, mode is
'Aggressive'.
