double-click the type name under a family. For example, under the Walls family,
double-click Exterior - Brick on CMU. The Type Properties dialog opens, and you

do any one of the following: delete a family type

Select the family type name in the Project Browser, and click (Delete)
on the toolbar.

Select the family type name in the Project Browser, and press DELETE.

Right-click the family type name, and click Delete.
This function deletes family types that you may have created and families loaded
into the project.
