Record voice data.

Press (record).
After “1st REC ready” is displayed, the “recording voice data” screen is shown.

Within 5 seconds, speak the voice to store.
After “2nd REC ready” is displayed, the “recording voice data” screen is shown.

Repeat speaking the same voice.
The voice data is saved.

To stop the recording, press
(cancel). Try again from the operation

If your voice is too low, too short/long, or there are too much noise around, or if the 2nd voice
is different from the 1st one, the voice data is not saved. Try again from the operation

Switch to the Voice shutter screen.

Follow Steps 1 - 2 in
Registering voice data (see p.157).

Select “1.set voice shutter” and press
(select).

Since the voice may change by age, for using for long time, it may not match the stored voice data. In such
a case, please restore the voice data.

Select “1.exact match” or “2.best approximation” and press
(select).
The Voice shutter is enabled.
•
The difference between “1. exact match” and “2. best approximation” is as shown below:
1. The level of certainty for successful shutter activation means the probability that the uttered
voice will activate the shutter. The “exact match” determines whether the uttered voice is
exactly the same as the registered one, thus leading to more frequent failures to activate the
shutter than “best approximation”.
2. If another person’s voice is too similar to your registered voice, the shutter might be activated.
•
If you do not use the Voice shutter, select “3. off”.
