You can change the time until the recorded message starts playing after the phone
rings.

Setting the time until the answer message starts

[Default] 9s

In standby, select “setting” 

“record message” 

“MSG shift time” from

the menu.

Record Message Shift Time is set.

You can set a time period of between 0 and 120 seconds.

•

Use 

to adjust the amount of time.

If you make a mistake, use 

to delete the number and reenter the correct number.

If you set the Voice Mail Service (see p.448) or Call Forwarding Service (see p.455) along with Record
Message, the priority varies depending on the Ring Time settings of the Voice Mail Service and Call
Forwarding Service. To precede Record Message, set the shorter migration time for Record Message
than for the Voice Mail Service or Call Forwarding Service. Note that when there are already a total of 10
recorded messages and Voice memos or the remaining recording time is less than 10 seconds, the Voice
Mail Service or the Call Forwarding Service is automatically selected regardless of the Ring Time settings.
