Using a Switch-equipped Earphone/Microphone (optional) (continued)

Remove the cap from earphone/microphone jack on the side of the mova and insert
the plug of the switch-equipped earphone/microphone.
•
Insert the plug into the jack firmly. If the plug is not firmly seated, you may not hear the other
party clearly.
By default, you can use the switch on the switch-equipped earphone/microphone to
dial “phone 1” in the Memory number 999. You can change the Memory number to dial
(see p.549).

This function can also be performed when the mova is closed.

Press and hold down the switch on the earphone/microphone for more than 2
seconds.
The phone number saved to “phone 1” in the Memory number 999 is dialed automatically.
•
If you set a Memory number with the Auto Dial setting, you can automatically dial the number
saved to “phone 1” of the set Memory number.

Making a call using the switch

To end the call, press and hold down the switch for more than 2 seconds.
The call ends.
•
Extend the cord of the switch-equipped earphone/microphone. Do not wind it around the mova.
•
The clicking sound may be generated when power is turned on, but it is not a malfunction.
•
Noise may be generated if the cord of the switch-equipped earphone/microphone comes too close to the
antenna.
•
You can turn off a busy signal by pressing and holding down the switch of the switch-equipped earphone/
microphone.

This function requires a subscription to the Call Waiting Service.
Answering another call while talking
Receiving a call using the switch

When you receive a call, press and hold down the switch on the
earphone/microphone for more than 2 seconds.
The call is answered.

To end the call, press and hold down the switch for more than 2 seconds.
The call ends.

When the 2nd call beeps are heard during a call, press and hold down the
switch on the earphone/microphone for more than 2 seconds.
The 1st call is put on hold and the 2nd call is answered.
•
If you subscribe to the Three-way Calling Service, you can talk with 2 people at the same time
(see p.459).
