Record
Sound
Protecting a recorded sound
•
Maximum number of melodies that can be protected : 500 (The total number of melodies
fetched from the Record sound, the melody acquired in i-mode,
Memory Stick Duo, or the
Barcode Reader.)
The recorded sound is now protected and the icon changes to one with
icon attached.
•
To cancel protection, select the protected Record sound, and select
“unprotect” from the submenu.

Select a Record sound from the recorded sound list, and select “protect” from
the submenu.
Deleting a recorded sound
•
The sound set in the Phonebook cannot be deleted in the followings:
Delete the sound after canceling the setting.
・
When Phonebook Access Lock is set
・
When Phonebook Store Lock is set
・
When Phonebook Delete Lock is set
・
When Keydial Lock is set
・
When the sound is set in the Phonebook entry which is set to Accept Calls/Reject Calls
•
When a sound melody used as a ringtone is deleted, the default ringtone is used.

Select a recorded sound from the recorded sound list and then select “delete
one” from the submenu.
•
Protected sound cannot be deleted.
•
You can also delete a Record sound by pressing and holding down
.

To delete more than one recorded sound

In the recorded sound list, select “DEL selected” from the submenu.

Select a sound you want to delete and then press
(select).
• You can select multiple sounds.
• To cancel your selection, select the sound you selected and then press
(REL).
• A prompt appears when you select a sound that is set for the ringtone, etc. Select “YES” to
delete the sound and then press
(select). To not delete the sound, select “NO”.

Press (decide).
Proceed to Step 2.

To delete all recorded sounds
Protected sounds remain.

In the recorded sound list, select “delete all” from the submenu.
Proceed to Step 2.

Select “YES” and then press
(select).
The selected sound is deleted. The setting is canceled when you select a sound that is set for the
ringtone, etc.
•
To cancel the operation, select “NO”.
