Photography

•

Use camera setting to set the image size and the “saved to” location. You can change the settings
after displaying the Still Image Photography screen (see p.154). 

For details of the available image sizes, “saved to” locations, and the maximum number of
images that can be saved, see p.131.

•

Check the closeup switch before taking a still image (see p.129).

In standby, open the lens cover.

Point the camera at the subject and press 

.

The shutter sound is played, then the still image is captured and saved.

•

If you take a still image with the mova placed horizontally, a horizontal still image appears on the
main display. With the mova placed vertically, a vertical still image appears on the main display.

The Still Image Photography screen appears in the
Inspiration window.  

•

Alternatively, you can use the following ways. After these
operations, open the lens cover and start shooting.

・

In standby, press and hold down 

.

・

In standby, select “camera” 

“camera mode” from the

sub-display menu.

•

While Key Guard is set, the camera is not activated even if
the lens cover is open.

•

You can continue taking images with the mova open.

•

If no key is pressed for about 3 minutes, the Standby

[Close Shoot]

To change the photo size

The photo size cannot be changed in the Burst mode and the Frame Shoot mode. 

•

The “photo size (close)” in the Camera setting changes, too.

The shutter sound, burst shooting sound, or Auto timer sound is emitted at a specified volume even in
Manner mode or Drive mode.

•

You can answer a call while displaying the Still Image Photography screen. When the call ends, the mova
returns to the Still Image Photography screen.

•

When the mova receives mail or a Message while the Still Image Photography screen is displayed, the
message reception screen appears. When you press 

(return), the Still Image Photography screen

reappears.

•

A character image set by the Partner setting does not appear while the camera is active. A “no setting”
image appears instead.
