Mail

Ending a Chat mail session

•

You can select whether to end the Chat mail session with deleting the messages displayed in
the Chat mail screen, or to end the session without deleting the messages. If it is ended without
deleting the messages, they appear when you access the Chat mail screen next time.

•

When you delete Chat mail, the chat mail is also deleted from the Outmail box and Inmail box.
Protected mail will remain undeleted.

In the Chat mail screen, select “end chatmail” from the submenu.

If any Chat mail messages remain on the Chat mail screen, a prompt appears asking whether to
delete the messages displayed on the screen.

When you delete messages and end the Chat mail session, select “YES” and
press (select).

The Chat mail session is ended.

•

When you want to end the Chat mail session without deleting the messages, select “NO”.

•

Regardless of whether to delete Chat mail, any message in the “send message” field that is not sent will
not be saved.
