Setting No Ringtone from a Party Not Saved in the Phonebook
Mute Ring Time
You can set the number of seconds (Mute Ring Time) starting from when the call is
received until when the ringtone starts; the setting can be set from 0 to 99 seconds. You
can defeat nuisance calls such as malicious call by setting a short period of time.
•
This function cannot be turned on when the Reject Unstored Number setting is on (see p.74).

You can set a time period of between 0 and 99 seconds.

When Mute Ring Time is set
•
When a party who is not saved in the Phonebook calls, the mova operates as follows until the Mute ring
time elapses.
•
Ringtone does not sound and call indicator does not flash.
•
The Inspiration window displays the incoming call screen.
•
The caller hears the ring back tone.
•
If the call is disconnected within the Mute ring time, the call is recorded in the Call history as Mute

Whether mail ringtone for i-mode mail sounds is determined by the Mail Ringtone setting, regardless of the
Mute Ring Time setting.
•
If the Mute ring time is longer than the Record message shift time, the Record Message function is
selected with a no ringtone. To start a ringtone and shift to the Record Message function, set the Record
message shift time longer than the Mute ring time.
Since the relationship between the Record message shift time and the Voice mail service ring time, the
Call forwarding service ring time, and Auto answer ring time is the same as one between the Record
message shift time and the Mute ring time, pay attention to setting them.
N o t e
allowed to receive calls are rejected regardless of the Mute Ring Time setting. The rejected calls are
saved in the Call history as Mute receive. The Missed Call icon appears.
